March 13, 2012

We just posted a new Slideshare presentation.  10 Reasons Your PTA or PTO should Blog.

Basically, there’s no reason that a PTA or PTO should keep quiet – especially in today’s day and age.

Here’s a summary of the 10 reasons:

1) Publicly state your goals.
2) Create a volunteer landing page.
3) Update the community on your progress.
4) Promote your activities and events.
5) Host extra information not available on flyers.
6) Share proof of accomplishments.
7) Recognize and celebrate milestones and contributions.
8) Post Your Calendar.
9) Extend Thank You’s.
10) Get feedback!

10 Reasons to Join the PTA

September 15, 2010

Believe Kids is a supporter of parent groups of all types including the PTA. We believe the PTA is important for many reasons including being a liason to fundraising which, of course, we have a direct interest in. We work with PTA’s daily so we thought we would offer up a document explaining in simple terms the benefits of getting involved and volunteering at a child’s school. We hope someone chooses to be more involved in their child’s school as a result of seeing this. Feel free to share as much as you’d like. Thanks!
